Today’s Special is an initiative that harnesses the skills and generosity of the food, hospitality and catering industries to bring about positive change.

 

Set up by some of the hospitality industry’s own, our first project in 2020 raised £250,000 to support vulnerable people during the first Covid-19 lockdown.

Last summer, prizes from the food and drink industry’s leading lights went up for grabs via Today’s Special, a huge online charity auction that was (in true 2020 fashion) streamed live on Zoom.

Together we raised more than £250,000 that went to two charities, Action Against Hunger and Hospitality Action. Helping to feed those most in need in the UK and around the world, and support hospitality’s most vulnerable people.
